60 exhibitors confirmed to participate in the Northern Uganda Agricultural trade show

60 exhibitors have already been confirmed to participate in the Northern Uganda Agricultural trade show that is going to take place from 26th to 30th March 2026 from Kaunda grounds in Gulu City.

Speaking during the launch of the trade show in the city board room yesterday, the Gulu City Mayor Alfred Okwonga said the timing of the trade show this time is perfect because it used to happen around August to September but this time around it is happening in March when the rain is just setting in which means the farmers will definitely benefit.

Okwonga says that as a region, this 5th edition of the Northern Uganda Agricultural trade show is focusing on cash crop promotion specifically the four acre model.

He adds that Gulu City is an agro processing city hence the need to promote agriculture to the maximum.

Okwonga advises that the PDM beneficiaries be targeted in the trade show because most of them are into agriculture hence it will guide them in decision making when it comes to their projects.

According to Okwonga, for the first time in history there will be rewarding of the best farmer in the region and the best farmer in the districts so people should carry their best agricultural products hoping to win.

Cyrus Mubarak, advocacy manager for ASENET, one of the partners in the organization of the trade show says that people should come expecting the latest technology in diary pasture farming that can withstand dry spells including all the latest technology which everyone should not miss.
