
Six officials have been suspended for three months by FUFA for breach of match officiating standards.
This resulted from the Buhimba United versus Police match.
They are; Referee Musisi Henry, assistant referees Kinyera Fred and Mbabali Samuel, fourth official Ssemakula John, match commissioner Kugonza Ssemu Christopher and referee assessor Kimbugwe Hillary Godfrey and will undertake a refresher course.
It should be noted that the officials allowed Buhimba United player Eric Nyonyintono to feature in the game despite having a different colour of the jersey from the rest of his teammates.
Assistant referee Immaculate Ongiera is suspended for three months for incorrectly flagging offside Hassan Mubiru’s would be goal during the SC Villa versus Express match.
Meanwhile, Referee Emmanuel Okudra has also been handed a three-month suspension for disallowing a legtimate SC Villa goal during the match between Police versus SC Villa.
