Penalty Drama Sends Uganda to CAF Schools Championship Final

Uganda has qualified to the final of the 2026 CAF schools football championship after overcoming Benin 4-3 in post-match penalties during the semi-finals played at the Ngoni stadium in Harare city, Zimbabwe.

Normal time of this match had ended goal-less under sunny conditions.

Uganda, represented by St Mary’s Boarding School Kitende will now play in the final tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Senegal defeated Morocco 4-0 during the second semi-final.

Uganda will thus square up against Senegal in the final.

The third-place playoff match has Morocco against Benin for bronze.
