Uganda U17 Downs Zimbabwe in World Cup Qualifier

Uganda U17 Women’s National Football Team has taken advantage in their first round Women’s World Cup Qualifier fixture against Zimbabwe as the two teams faced off on Sunday.

In the first leg game played at Ngoni Stadium in Harare, the Teen Cranes secured a 2-0 win to take control of the tie.

First half goals from Immaculate Acen and Lydia Namaseruka guided Uganda to victory.

The second leg is slated for Saturday at FUFA Stadium Kadiba with the winner on aggregate taking on either Namibia or Kenya in the second qualifying round.
