Coffee Revival: Omoro Benefits from MAAIF Seedling Distribution

Omoro District Local Government has received a total of 690,000 Coffee Wilt Disease Resistant seedlings from the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal industries and Fisheries (MAAIF).

Distribution of the seedlings kicked off yesterday in Lalogi Sub County from where farmers received 74,500 seedlings.

Meanwhile, Ongako, Abuga and Koro Sub Counties received a total of 125,500 seedlings.

Tomorrow, Bobi and Lakwaya Sub Counties will receive 120,000 and 170,000 seedlings respectively.

According to Donato Oola Olam, the Omoro Chief Administrative Officer, Aremo and Palenga sub counties will receive 50,000 seedlings on Tuesday and on the same day, Odek, Acet Town council, Orapwoyo, Akidi and Omoro Town Council will receive 150,000 seedlings.
