Police Shake-Up: 14 Officers Transferred in North Kyoga Region

Abas Byakagaba, the Inspector General of Police has transferred and appointed a total of 14 police officers in North Kyoga policing region.

They include D/SSP Batte Daniel from North Kyoga to Kiira as Regional CID officer, SP Daniel Karter Mugisa who was Deputy Regional CID has been confirmed as Regional CID North Kyoga.

SSP Peter Twala from Human Resources and Administration to Lira as Duty Free Shop and Supermarket (DFSS) officer replacing SP Okalany Pius who was transferred to Nsambya as DFSS.

ASP Darius Awio who was OC station Kitgum was appointed Regional Private Security Firm in charge North Kyoga Region.

ASP Kangave Paul, the OC Station Kwania was transferred to Namayingo CPS in the same capacity while ASP Arop Richardson replaces him in Kwania.

ASP Asiimwe Alex was moved from Busia to Otuke as District Traffic Officer while ASP Akello Miriam was transferred from Otuke to Kyankwenzi as District Traffic Officer.

SP Baguma Nicholas was transferred from North Kyoga to Kidepo as Regional ICT officer and has been replaced by SP Musega Peter from Kidepo among others.

Patrick Jimmy Okema, the Police Spokesperson North Kyoga Region has confirmed the appointments and deployments welcoming the new officers deployed and thanks the outgoing officers for their service.
