FUFA Confirms Two June Friendly Matches for Uganda Cranes

Uganda Cranes will play two international friendly games in the month of June.

The confirmation was made by FUFA this morning.

In the next international window that will fall shortly before the start of the FIFA World Cup, Uganda will play two games against neighbors Tanzania and Madagascar.

The aforementioned two games will be played in Marrakech, Morocco with Uganda facing Tanzania on 5th June and Madagascar three days later.

It should be noted that the Cranes have not been in action since December last year when they played at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

The team will now embark on preparations for the 2027 AFCON where Uganda is a co-host alongside Kenya and Tanzania.

The draw for the 2027 AFCON Qualifiers was conducted yesterday and Uganda will take part despite being hosts.

They were pooled in Group H that has Libya, Botswana and Tunisia.
