
Collins Atube Bolingo, the former deputy speaker and councillor representing the people of Unyama today won the speakership race for Pece Laroo division in a landslide victory after beating Otema Wilson, the councillor representing the people of Laliya ward 26-13.
Atube assured the house that he will make advocacy for rights, Welfare and service delivery a priority.
Solomon Rackara, the councillor representing the people of Twon-okun ward went unopposed for the position of deputy speaker of Laroo Pece Division.
Meanwhile her worship the mayor of Laroo Pece Division, Gifta Aber appointed Obalim Tony, the councillor representing the people of Laborline ward the deputy mayor, Hon Oola Mark, the councillor representing the people of Lawiyadul ward was appointed Secretary Finance planning and administration.
Others are, Hon Akena Geoffrey Oscar appointed Secretary works production and technical services and Hon Acola mama cave appointed Secretary community based services education and health.
Aber in her speech during the appointments hinted that she was given the instruments of power but others were left behind, notably the stamp, she asks that it be given to her by tomorrow because she is starting work immediately.
She pledges to work on roads opening and maintenance, improvement in education sector, make sure garbage is well managed and Lc1 get their remittance promptly among others.
