Northern Uganda Media Club [NUMEC] FC is set to face Gulu Pastors in a friendly match at Prison Primary School this sunday
The match is expected to be a showcase of skills and talent before fans of both teams, with the main aim of fostering friendship and cooperation between the pastors and members of the media.
Speaking in an interview, NUMEC FC captain Ivan Tolit said the game will help strengthen collaboration between the two sides in the future.
He however calls on NUMEC players to attend training regularly to help build a strong lineup capable of beating the Pastors’ team.
Welborn Otto, one of the pastors, says the match will also help the clergy interact and get to know journalists in Northern Uganda better.
He advises his teammates to work hard and prepare adequately for the game to avoid disappointment against the media.
