
Uganda Police Force FC drew 1-1 with Maroons FC in the Inter-Forces Championship played yesterday at Layibi College Playground.
The match drew more than 300 spectators who turned up to watch.
Speaking after the game, Police FC Captain Mukisa Michael said the match was intense as both sides wanted to win.
He appeals to the players to never give up and to always aim higher and have the mindset to win every game they play.
Maroons FC Captain Isaac Matovu said his team played well but missed many chances.
He adds that his team will bounce back in the next game, noting that they have the quality to win the Inter-Forces title. The Inter-Forces Championship features four security forces: Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces – UPDF, Uganda Prisons Service, Uganda Police Force, and Uganda Wildlife Authority – UWA.
