Uganda Prisons Service won the Inter-Forces Athletics Championship held yesterday at Layibi College Playground.
Yesterday’s event attracted more than 300 spectators and featured competition among the four security forces.
Doreen Akao, a Uganda Prisons athlete says the victory was down to preparation.
She praises her teammates for their effort and urged them not to relax.
Christine Piloya, an athlete from Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces – UPDF, says her team struggled because of limited preparation.
She urges UPDF to work harder ahead of next year’s championship.
