Police has cautioned members of the public against movement during the national cleaning day exercise set to take place this Saturday.
The National cleaning day which was launched last month is a monthly activity initiated by government to improve sanitation and health across the country.
The activity takes place from 7:00am to 10:00am required citizens to engage in cleaning their public spaces that include markets, schools, roads, and hospitals.
Members of the public are during that time restricted from movement or opening their business premises.
Patrick Jimmy Okema, the North Kyoga Police Spokesperson says a few selected categories of people will be allowed to move but must have valid identified documents.
The selected category includes people travelling for scheduled medical treatment who are expected to carry relevant medical documentation.
Others are emergency-service vehicles, medical personnel on duty, security personnel, private security personnel on duty, cross-border vehicular traffic, persons travelling abroad, foreign tourists and journalists.
