Prudential Uganda Opens Regional Office in Gulu City

Prudential Assurance Uganda Limited has opened a regional office at Stanbic Bank building in Gulu City as part of its efforts to bring insurance services closer to people in Northern Uganda.

Assimwe Edgar, the Chief Agency Officer of Prudential Uganda says the new office demonstrates the company’s commitment to serving it’s clients better by establishing a presence closer to them.

Edgar says Prudential’s goal is to make insurance part of the financial planning of ordinary people in the region, adding that the company also wants to learn from its clients and build lasting relationships with them.

Tetteh Ayitevie, the Prudential Uganda Chief Executive Officer says the Gulu office is not only about generating revenue but also about creating an opportunity for the company to touch the lives of people in Gulu and surrounding areas by helping them protect their future dreams.

Acire Julius Labeja, the Mayor of Gulu City welcomes Prudential’s investment saying Gulu is ready for more businesses and investments.

He urges the management of Prudential to invest more in the youth through deliberate awareness programmes that will help them understand how insurance works and how it can support their financial planning.

Prudential Assurance Uganda Limited has been operating in Uganda since 2014, providing life and health insurance services.
