
At least 32 motorcycles have been stolen from boda-boda motorcyclists in Gulu City this year alone, according to a report.
Johnson Odong, the spokesperson Gulu City Council Boda-boda Motorcycle Association says that none of the motorcycles have been recovered so far.
Odong says that this leaves the affected members in a dilemma as they can’t support their families.
He explains that when a motorcycle is stolen, the rider is pushed out of business and some end up frustrated and resort to alcohol.
Odong says boda-boda motorcyclist have in some cases been abandoned by their wives for failing to provide.
