Amuru RDC Decries Low Pupil Turnout in Schools

Geoffrey Osborn Oceng, the Amuru Resident District Commissioner has decried the poor turn up of children in majority of schools across the district. 

Oceng says he discovered that over 97% of pupils did not attend school yesterday during his visit to over 20 schools in the district.

The Amuru RDC urges parents to send their children to school because education is the future of Uganda.

Gilbert Olanya, the Kilak-South Member of Parliament recently advised parents to ensure that their children start school early to enable curriculum completion in time.

Amuru district got a total of 90 first grades in the recently released Primary leaving examination results of 2025.
