Geoffrey Osborn Oceng, the Amuru Resident District Commissioner has reassured the public in Acholi Sub Region that they will soon benefit from the cattle restocking program.
Oceng says each household should ensure to register with their local council one chairpersons in order to benefit from the program.
Oceng says cabinet recently sat and will soon come out with their final position on how the restocking will be implemented.
Before the general elections, government released 76 billion shillings for the cattle restocking program in Acholi, Lango and Teso sub regions which have been impoverished by prolonged conflict.
Oceng explains that the RDCs across the three sub regions are currently engaging with L.C1 chairpersons and parish chiefs to ascertain the existing data of beneficiaries.
