

Lakang HC III in Amuru district is set to get new infrastructural upgrade at a cost of 1.9 billion shillings.
This revelation was made by Micheal Lakony, the Amuru District LC V Chairperson.
Lakony says they signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Hunger Project, a Non-governmental organization working in Amuru who will fund the construction of Out Patient department and other facilities.
Lakony reveals that some of the key facilities that will be constructed in Amuru district under this project include; twin staff houses, a four stance of drainable latrine, a main hall and two stances of drainable latrines.
He further says that the work will be conducted out by Alison Consults who are expected to complete it in one year.
The Hunger Project has in the past also set up a clean piped water system in Lakang Sub-County.
