Residents of Olano, Agung village in Unyama sub county Gulu district are mourning the death by suicide of a catechist identified as Celsio Arop.

60-year-old Arop was discovered hanging dead from a tree by members of his family.

Justine Kidega, the LC III Chairperson of Unyama sub county confirms the incident saying it is unfortunate.

Kidega says police and local leaders are trying to establish what could have led the catechist to take his own life.
