According to the district Communication Officer, Gloria Aloyo, the Senior Management meeting involving sector heads Presented Strategic Progress on emerging issues in the district.
She reveals that the District Land Management processes are ongoing, with significant attention given to securing land titles for several health facilities.
Currently, titling for Patiko Health Centre and Pawel Angany Health Centre, among others are on ongoing.
Aloyo adds that for facilities with missing survey reports replacement procedures have begun and Follow-up letters have already been submitted, and the Lands Officer is actively engaging the relevant offices to expedite feedback.
She also reveals that additionally, a recommendation has been forwarded to the Ministry for the titling of land hosting the Angaya Health Centre incinerator, as a portion of the land falls under the National Forestry Authority.
She says that the District is currently conducting the validation exercise for pensioners who were not previously captured.
She says the general public are being encouraged to bring their elderly persons for validation on dates that suit them best.
This activity is guided by Establishment Notice No. 4, which mandates the CAO and Human Resource Office to validate pensioners and submit reports to the Ministry of Public Service, Office of the Auditor General, and the IGG.
In consideration of elderly beneficiaries, the Human resource desk has been relocated to the ground floor to ease access and minimize physical strain.
