Gulu trains midwives to fight prenatal deaths

Gulu District has taken a bold step to protect mothers and unborn babies.

The district health department, in partnership with well-wishers, has launched a 10-day intensive training for midwives drawn from Health Centre IIIs and IVs across the district.

Speaking to Favour FM, William Onyai, the Gulu District Senior Health Educator, said the training is aimed at preventing pregnancy-related complications and reducing prenatal deaths.
