The heavy downpour last evening has blown off the roof of a two classroom block and a pit latrine at Patiko Prison primary school in Owalo sub county, Gulu district.
The incident comes just a day after schools opened for the first academic term causing fear that some learners may lack classrooms to accommodate them.
Harriet Okot, the Gulu District Education Officer says that the damage caused on the buildings was being assessed by the district engineer.
