Isaac Othieno, a Special Police Constable attached to Osukuru Police Station in Tororo District, is on the run after allegedly bad mouthing President Yoweri Museveni and Inspector General of Police, Abbas Byakagaba.
According to Moses Mugwe, the incident occurred on Thursday last week in Kayoro Sub-County.
Othieno, who was reportedly in police uniform, allegedly claimed that the President and the IGP had failed to provide police officers with transport and food.
Elly Kaigwa, the Officer in Charge of Tororo Central Police Station, reported the matter, and a case has been registered under Tororo CRB 75/2026.
Police says Othieno is believed to be hiding in Kenya.
Police says they are on the ground, searching for the suspect to have him arrested and prosecuted.
