Favour FM has learnt that at least seven health centers in Gulu district are yet to get connected to the national grid.
The health centers include Omel health center III and Health center IIs; Pugwinyi, Pabwo, Pawel, Oroko, Gwengdiya, Pukony and Paibona.
Dr. Kenneth Cana, the Gulu District Health Officer says the health centers without electricity currently depend on solar power for lighting.
Cana says the solar power is not reliable as it does not light for long.
He is however hopeful that the health facilities will in the near future be connected to the power grid in order to improve health services there.
