
The Aswa River Region Police Commander says security has arrested four suspects linked to the brutal petrol station gun attack at Keyi B cell, Laliya Trading Centre, Gulu City.
On the 5th of this month, three unknown arrived at LT energy petrol station on a boda boda then attacked and instantly shot at the security guard identified as Obedi Ronald and another unidentified victim who both died.
They also fled away with Obedi’s gun
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Fred Ahimbisibwe Mchanga, the Aswa West Regional Police Commander says four suspects have been arrested in an intelligence led operation and detained.
Ahimbisibwe says the joint security operations is continuing to register significant achievements in disrupting criminal activities and promoting peace and stability across the region.
He commends local leaders the public for their vigilance and co-operation in supporting community safety efforts.
In a press release on the 6th of this month, David Ongom Mudong, the Aswa Region Police spokesman pledged Uganda Police Force’s commitment to man hunt and arrest the suspects for aggravated robbery and murder.
