Balingtone P’Ongwec, the secretary production works and technical services for Gulu district says a total of 86km of roads have been worked on in the 2025/2026 financial year in Gulu district.
According to Balingtone, the roads on which mechanized maintenance was conducted are; 25.5km Cwero-Omel-Lamaja- Apem- Boke road, 19.2km Abera-Awach road, 14.4km Labworomor -Ocetoaka road, 16.9km Cwero- Wilul-Bakuba-Ayweri road and rehabilitation was done on the 10km Teyaa padola-Pagik-Wilul road.
Balingtone notes that Lalwodo bridge was also rehabilitated and culverts installed at Wi-aruya bridge.
He says other roads will be worked on in the 2026/2027 financial year.
