Okello Patrick Oryema, the Nwoya district Chairperson says they have drawn a physical plan of developing Lii Junction into a major town.
Oryema says Lii Junction which currently hosts the sub-county headquarters of Lii Sub-County is a strategic area that the district has identified for development.
Oryema says the plan will be displayed in various places like markets and other public places for residents to view it and give in their input.
He adds that after three months, the plan will be taken to the Minister in-charge of Urban development for approval.
Oryema also cautions civil servants in Nwoya against drunkenness and absenteeism.
He says any civil servant found drinking during working hours will be reprimanded accordance to the law.
