Akena Alfred, the chairperson Pader district has been elected as the chairperson for all the District chairpersons in Acholi sub Region.
The joint meeting was held at Bomah Hotel Kitgum over the weekend with all the districts represented.
Obol Justine Simpleman, the Gulu district Chairman was elected as the Vice Chairperson.
Akena pledges to promote peace, and development in Acholi sub-region.
He also pledges to work closely with the leadership of Acholi Parliamentary group to champion Acholi Agenda.
Akena was first Pader district Chairman in 2011.
