Newly elected Councilors in Gulu district are set to undergo a two days’ induction training.
The Gulu district Chairman, Honorable Obol Justine Simpleman in a Media Interview said the two days induction training will be taking place from the Gulu district Council Hall.
Hon. Obol adds that they received financial support from the NRM Secretary General Honorable Richard Todwong to a tune of 20 million shillings to conduct the training.
The Councilors will be trained on different areas including Council business, legislative Processes, rules of procedures among others.
Last weekend, during the Thanksgiving of Honorable Phoebe Ayoo from Bungatira sub-county, the district Chairman, requested the NRM Secretary General for a support towards induction of Councilors.
