Student enrolment at Gulu University has increased according to reports from James Onono Ojok, the Senior Communications Officer for the University.
Onono says they admitted about 7,000 students into the University this semester of whom 2,665 have reported and enrolled into the University portal.
He encourages the students who have reported to the University but have not yet enrolled into the University portal to do so by the 11th of October this year for easy capturing of their data.
According to Onono, many students have shown interest in the University because of the good image of the University in the community.
He adds that students have also been lured into joining the University because the alumni, lecturers, and students are exemplary in the community.
Onono further says that the department of law at Gulu University doesn’t conduct pre-entry exams like other Universities, a factor that has also contributed to students preferring to study at the University.
Onono says Gulu University has grown over the years because of the trust from parents across the country whom he urges to continue supporting the University like they have always been doing.
