Police in Oyam district have arrested 10 suspects in connection to a break-in at Ngai Secondary School Computer Laboratory where 16 HP computer Central Processing Units (CPUs) worth 40 million shillings were stolen.
The break in occurred at around 2:00am yesterday according to a statement from Patrick Jimmy Okema, the North Kyoga Police Spokesperson.
Okema says the incident was noticed at 07:40am today by Janani Okot, the school head teacher who then reported the matter to police.
He says ten suspects including the school ICT teacher, security guards and students were arrested.
The suspects are; Tony Olobo, the ICT Teacher, three security guards identified as Patrick Ogwal, Isaac Ogwang and Tom Eban.
Six students aged between 16 and 17 were also arrested.
Okema says investigations into the incident are underway.
