A 22-year-old student of Lwani Memorial College in Atiak Town Council and a three-month old child have been killed in a road crash which occurred from Atiak Town Council, Amuru District.
The deceased persons in yesterday’s accident have been identified as Rubangakene Andrew and three months old, Rwot-Omia Prosper.
Rubangakene was riding a motorcycle registration number UFA 813D carrying a woman and her child.
A witness says the vehicle registration number SSD 184E, a white Land cruiser which was traveling along Gulu Nimule road lost control and knocked the deceased who was carrying a mother and her three-month old baby.
The land cruiser knocked them from in front of Atiak Health Center IV and injured four other people.
The injured people have been rushed to St. Marys’ hospital Lacor in Gulu.
The driver of the land cruiser reportedly fled the scene but he was later arrested and he is currently detained at Atiak Police Post in Amuru district
