The Heart Beat of God

 The Police in Gulu City are investigating the double murder of two men which occurred on the night of 4th February 2026.

David Ongom Mudong, the Aswa West Police Spokesperson identifies the deceased as, 25-year-old 𝘖𝘬𝘦𝘮𝘢 𝘋𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘦𝘭, a 𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘢 𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘢 𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘳 who resides in 𝘈𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘰𝘳𝘸𝘰𝘵 𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘭, 𝘛𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘰 𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘉𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘨𝘦 𝘓𝘢𝘺𝘪𝘣𝘪 𝘥𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘎𝘶𝘭𝘶 𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘺 and 18-year-old 𝘖𝘭𝘰𝘺𝘢 𝘚𝘵𝘦𝘱𝘩𝘦𝘯, a student who resides in the same location.

The suspects have been identified as; 𝘖𝘱𝘪𝘺𝘰 𝘌𝘮𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘶𝘦𝘭, O𝘫𝘢𝘳𝘢 𝘗𝘢𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘬 𝘈𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘮, 𝘈𝘯𝘺𝘸𝘢𝘳 𝘕𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘰𝘯, 𝘊𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘪 𝘝𝘢𝘭𝘦n and 𝘖𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘺𝘢 𝘐𝘷𝘢𝘯.

Allegations indicate that during the night of 04/02/2026 𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘹𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺 02:00am there was a scuffle between the supporters 𝘖𝘫𝘢𝘳𝘢 𝘗𝘢𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘬 𝘈𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘮, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 directly 𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵ed Councilor for Bardege and the supporters of 𝘓𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘳 𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘭𝘺𝘯, the Woman Councilor for Bardege division.

This occurred from 𝘈𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘰𝘳𝘸𝘰𝘵 C𝘦𝘭𝘭 at the home of 𝘒𝘢𝘨𝘨𝘸𝘢 𝘍𝘭𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘢 from where they were consuming alcohol and watching the 𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘵𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘭 match 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘯 A𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 C𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘦𝘢.

𝘖𝘱𝘪𝘺𝘰 𝘌𝘮𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘶𝘦𝘭, O𝘱𝘪𝘺𝘰 𝘉𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘯, O𝘫𝘢𝘳𝘢 P𝘢𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘬 𝘈𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘮 then 𝘸𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘷𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘺 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 O𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘺𝘢 I𝘷𝘢𝘯, C𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘪 𝘝𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘈𝘯𝘺𝘸𝘢𝘳 𝘕𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘴 and 𝘫𝘰𝘪𝘯ed 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 i𝘯 𝘢𝘥𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘬𝘪𝘯.

Surprisingly, 𝘖𝘱𝘪𝘺𝘰 𝘌𝘮𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘶𝘦𝘭 𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘤𝘶𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘖𝘭𝘰𝘺𝘢 𝘚𝘵𝘦𝘱𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘣𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 which forced Oloya Stephen to 𝘳𝘶𝘯 𝘢𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘸𝘢𝘮𝘱 while Opiyo continued cutting and 𝘪𝘯𝘫𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘪𝘮 badly. 

𝘖𝘱𝘪𝘺𝘰 𝘌𝘮𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘶𝘦𝘭 later returned to 𝘖𝘬𝘦𝘮𝘢 𝘋𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘦𝘭 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢 and 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 him while 𝘤𝘶𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘮𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘪𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘳𝘮 𝘶𝘱𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘖𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘙𝘪𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘯𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘢 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘈𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘰𝘳𝘸𝘰𝘵 C𝘦𝘭𝘭. 

Okema says a case file has been opened at 𝖦ulu West vide S𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘧; 03/04/02/2026 and later CRB 032/2026 for investigation while the suspects have been arrested and detained.
