Laroo-Pece division located in Gulu City is seeking to go digital by using tablets during council meetings.
This was revealed yesterday during the division’s full council meeting held at Laroo-Pece division headquarters in Gulu City.
Atube Collins, the Speaker of the division says tablets should be bought for Councillors in order to avoid delays in starting council meetings like it happened yesterday.

Atube says the world has gone digital and as such tablets will enable Councilors to read and understand the topics for discussion in council early enough since documents will be shared with them much earlier.
He adds that tablets will also eliminate the need for council to peruse through papers.
Obalim Tony, the deputy Mayor of Laroo-Pece division supports the idea adding that Gulu City raises a lot of revenue which can facilitate the purchase of tablets.
Obalim proposes that a projector be purchased to enable members of the gallery access information being shared in council.
