Kampala Queens are the Winners of the 2026 FUFA Women’s Cup after defeating Kawempe Muslim 2-0 in the final played yesterday at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba.
Kampala Queens have won the cup for the first time, thanks to a commanding display.
The two teams were fully deserving of reaching the final given their performance in this competition.
Kawempe were seeking to complete a domestic double while Kampala Queens were seeking redemption given their poor run in the League.
On the day, it was Kampala Queens who showed character and precision, winning 2-0 thanks to goals from Joanitah Ainembabazi and Kamiyati Naigaga.
Kampala Queens become the seventh team to win the FUFA Women’s Cup in as many editions.
