Layibi College has received 20 million shillings from the 4th infantry division for constructing toilet facilities in the school as an appreciation for hosting the 18th edition of the inter-forces games 2026.
Walter Otii Nyeko, the Head teacher of Layibi College says construction began on Saturday by the UPDF engineering brigade.
Otii notes that they are overwhelmed by the offer and suggests for a statue to be erected at the school by the UPDF in memory of the inter-forces games.
Otii has also requested that president Museveni be reminded of his pledge of tarmacking the 2.5km road leading to the school and rehabilitation of the school metal workshop.
He says the academic excellence of the mighty school will be uplifted if the pledges are fulfilled.
