Beatrice Akello Akori, the state minister for Northern Uganda has faulted the Acholi people for returning the “balaalo” herdsmen to Northern Uganda.
She was speaking during a prayer breakfast meeting organized by Favour of God Ministries on Friday.
Akori says information leaked to her indicating that some Acholi people got the opportunity to return the balaalo to Acholi land while other people were busy focusing on campaigns.
Akori praises the security for doing a great job by removing 67,000 cows from Acholi sub region.
She faults the Acholi people for being the problem because they can’t help themselves despite the fact that they are being helped.
Akori has vowed to implement the executive order number 3 without fear as it is.
The Executive Order Number 3, issued by President Yoweri Museveni, focuses on anti-cattle rustling efforts, environmental protection, and transforming the Uganda Police Force.
The order initially set a deadline for cattle keepers to leave northern Uganda, emphasizing the government’s commitment to enforcing its directives.
