The construction of office premises for the District Internal Security Officer (DISO) was yesterday commissioned in Omoro district.
Jackline Cherop, the Omoro district communication officer says that the construction work is being handled by Desbo Investments Limited who is expected to complete work within six months.
Andrew Okot Obibi, the LCV Chairperson appreciates the Government of Uganda through the president’s office for providing funds for the construction of the office space.
He pledges to continue supporting the National Government in giving more land to state agencies who intend to develop the district such as the Director of Public Prosecutions and the Judiciary among others. Emmanuel Okot, the Resident District Commissioner warns the contractor against doing shoddy work and to follow the time frame in which the construction work has been scheduled to be complete.
