Paicho LC III Chair Warns Against Theft and Vandalism of School Property

Charles Okello, the Paicho sub-county LC III Chairperson has cautioned the community against the theft and vandalism of school materials.

This comes after some suspected criminals recently broke into the stores of Paicho primary school and stole food items like beans and posho meant for the school feeding program.

Okello notes that such acts are unacceptable urging the community to desist from such before they are arrested.

He adds that they are working with the security officials in the sub-county to ensure that the culprits are arrested.

In May this year, Harriet Atim, the Gulu District Education Officer warned parents and the community in Gulu District against vandalizing school property and defecating in classrooms during school holidays.

This came after several schools reported broken desks, stolen roofing materials, and human waste left in classrooms while learners were away during the first term holidays.
