The Deputy City Commissioner of Pece-Laroo Division in Gulu City has urged residents to vote for LC1 chairpersons who are easy to work with in maintaining security.
Peter Banya says some LC1 chairpersons collude with thugs hence making difficult for security to arrest suspects.
Meanwhile, Ayotto Polline, the LC1 chairperson of Kasubi Small Gate applauds Banya for his tireless efforts and pledges to continue working with him if she is re-elected in order to maintain the good reputation of Kasubi.
She however notes that sometimes they coordinate with security operatives who respond late after thugs have already disappeared.
She urges them to respond quickly whenever they are called.
Today, LC1 aspirants across Gulu City are undergoing nomination as they seek votes from residents.
