A prominent business man’s daughter has committed suicide from Forest cell, Laroo-Pece division in GuluCity.
Ameda and sons family discovered the body of their daughter; Mercy Lakica hanging in one of their hostels in Forest cell.
Akello Grace, the LC II Chairperson for Forest cell says Lakica had an argument a few days ago with her mother over Lakica picking her child from the mother to stay with her.
Akello says it was surprising to find her body hanging yesterday at around 7:00am.
She says the body has been delivered to Gulu Regional Referral Hospital pending postmortem.
The police in Gulu City have confirmed this report.
